Albert Heinrich Lanthaler

Ph.D student

Albert Heinrich Lanthaler recived his Bachelor’s in 2019 and his Master’s Degree in 2021, both in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi Parma, Italy. Between 2021 and 2022, he worked as a researcher assistant (AR) at Methrology and Diagnostic Lab at Università degli Studi di Parma, where he designed, tested and analized several mechanical strain detection setups. He is currently enrolled in the Advanced-Systems Engineering PhD programm at the Free University of Bolzano-Bozen. His research aims to develop sensors and systems for Smart textiles, based on recyclable, biocompatible and biodegradable materials.

Main research areas

Development of green electronics embedded on recyclable, biocompatible and biodegradable textiles.
